Dearone Private Limited (CIN U86900MH2026PTC467148) is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here. We handle two groups of people's data with equal care: families seeking a professional, and the nannies, japa caregivers and registered nurses who register with us. This policy is written under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
| Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|
| Managing your enquiry and matching professionals to your requirement | Your consent |
| Screening a professional's identity, address, history and references | Her specific, separate written consent |
| Preparing and sharing a profile with a prospective household | Her specific, separate written consent |
| Invoicing, accounting, tax and statutory records | Legal obligation |
| Complaints, disputes, fraud prevention and safeguarding concerns | Legitimate use / legal obligation |
We ask professionals for consent to screening, and separately for consent to share an identifiable profile, video, document or health information — in a language they read comfortably, before any check is run. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, though we may then be unable to present them. Families providing information about a child or patient confirm that they are authorised to do so.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass your details to other agencies. Profiles shared with you may not be forwarded, posted in groups, or reused for any purpose other than your own placement decision.
We do not routinely send complete Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, passports or medical records over WhatsApp or email. We collect only what is genuinely required; prefer masked Aadhaar or consent-based offline verification; record that an original was sighted rather than keeping unnecessary copies; watermark any verification copy “For Dear One verification only”; restrict access to authorised staff; and never permit a household to retain a professional's original documents.
Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner. Card numbers, UPI credentials and net-banking passwords are entered on the gateway's own secure page and are never seen, transmitted or stored by Dear One. We retain only the transaction reference, amount, date and status. We do not accept cash.
Access to personal data is limited to the staff who need it for a specific task. Documents and profiles are held in access-controlled storage, not in ordinary chat threads. Staff handling this data are bound by written confidentiality obligations. If a personal data breach occurs we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and every affected person in the manner and within the timelines required by the DPDP Act.
You may ask us to confirm what data we hold and how we use it; correct or complete inaccurate data; erase data we no longer need; withdraw a consent you previously gave; or nominate another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to. Write to hello@dearone.in and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
We collect limited information about your child — age, health needs and care requirements — solely to make an appropriate match, and only from you as parent or lawful guardian. We do not collect data directly from children, and we never use children's data for tracking, profiling or advertising.
This website uses only the cookies strictly necessary to serve the page. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party profiling here. If that changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
Questions, requests or complaints about personal data should be addressed to the Grievance Officer, Dearone Private Limited, Mumbai, Maharashtra — hello@dearone.in.
